Cannes 2025: Anupam Kher Shares New Video, Says ‘I’d Love to Return Again’

Anupam Kher Shares New Video: The film 'Tanvi: The Great' directed by Bollywood actor Anupam Kher premiered on May 19 at the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival (Cannes 2025). The film also received a positive response from the audience. Meanwhile, now Anupam Kher has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Cannes Film Festival for the warm welcome of his upcoming film "Tanvi the Great". Sharing the video, the veteran actor said that he is excited to return with another film as an actor or director.

Let us tell you that Anupam Kher has shared a video on Instagram in which Pallavi Joshi, Boman Irani and debutant Shubhangi Dutt are also there. In the video, Anupam Kher said, "Namaste, Cannes. Thank you very much for such a wonderful, wonderful, heartwarming welcome to our film Tanvi the Great. Thank you very much. I am very happy and what a wonderful festival it is. The film was received with love and warmth. It touched everyone's heart and thank you. We will see you again with another film as an actor or director. I would love to come back but I had a great time. We had a great time and it was fantastic". 

Boman Irani said this

Continuing his conversation, Anupam Kher informed that the cast has now left for the London premiere of the film. He said, "Boman Irani I am making a video to say hello and thank you to Cannes. Yes, what do you want me to say, sir? Whatever you feel". To which Boman replied, "I don't think you should say goodbye. We will just say goodbye for now because we will come back next year. The bookings have been done, the hotel bookings have been done. The airlines haven't come yet, but we will come back".

After this, Shubhangi further said in the video, "Thank you for the most wonderful memories and a beautiful beginning and the most wonderful memories. You will be missed, Cannes. Bonjour and Daya". Actress Pallavi Joshi said goodbye to Cannes and said, "We will see you next year and thank you very much for the welcome you gave". At the same time, Anupam Kher said at the end of the video, "We will bring another great film next time. So my friends, take care of yourself, lots of love to all the Indians who came to meet us at the India Pavilion and to all the other international audiences who came to watch the film. Thank you. 'Tanvi the Great' will be released on July 18 

'Tanvi: The Great' also stars celebs like Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, Pallavi Joshi, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Game of Thrones actor Ian Glen, Nasir and Anupam Kher himself in important roles. Anupam Kher will be the director of this film, whose music will be given by MM Keeravani, who has won an Oscar for RRR. The film is produced by NFDC in collaboration with Anupam Kher Studio.
